R3 Volleyball Inc. observes full but not limited to Sand Volleyball Rules.
Your team will be responsible to understand and adhere to the rules the best you can.
Attention: Your safety and well being first! If you feel at any point you are not or no longer fit to fulfill the duration of this tournament, it is your full responsibility to make that decision to eliminate yourself from it. If there is anything R3 Volleyball Inc. can do to assist you please let us know immediately.

Please be mindful that although this is a competition it is still important to show the community and everyone in it full respect and understanding.
Please do not allow the games to taint your demeanor and allow negativity to foster, that may lead to a poor and or hostile experience to yourself and or everyone else.
Below are the Rules that we have drafted for everyone during this tournament.
We as the organization R3 Volleyball Inc. do not claim any rights to the origination of each Rules stated below. We also do not claim that this is the official rules to all sand volleyball games. We aim to adhere to the most rules we can of sand volleyball, and not limit to it as well.
No Doubles. 1-1/2 spin is ok.
Excessive side spin is considered a double.
Double contact is a double
No Set Overs (Including unintentional, No hand dumps, No open hand pushes.
No Finger Tips. Must be knuckles, fist, palm of the hand, (miss hits will be considered a finger tip/open hand attack).
Open hand receive on serve is allowed (Must be clean, not a double, no ugly spins, and not a lift or carry).
Forgiven Doubles on an open hand recieve is discretional upon the play (ex: Double on a hard driven hit; the hits that doesnt allow a player enough time to react may warrant a forgiven double).
No Reaching, if the ball crosses the net and you made a succesful touch, attempts on redirecting will be considered a reach.
Blocking Redirection. Cannot occur on an over pass.
Attacking Over Passes. Must not be an open hand/finger tips, (must be knuckles, palm of hands or fist).
A block is not considered a first touch.
Pressing is allowed on the third touch.
Pressing before the third touch is considered a reach.
No substitutions allowed ones the games have started.
No shows, we will deliberate on a suitable substitution that doesnt hinder or surpasses your teams ability to proceed in the division you are playing in.
You play with what you got or what you got left.
No foot faults
No net touches ( For this particular event held by this particular organization, all net touches are a violation, with the exception of the ball ending the play before the violation).
Antenna touches are considered out.
Full body cross overs under the net are not allowed.
Partial body crossing under the net (meaning if you havent crossed the other side of the net) that does not interfere with opponents effort to get to the ball will not be considered a violation.
Everyone must rotate.
Everyone must be in proper rotation till the ball has been contacted on serve.
Everyone must serve in order of rotation.
Backrow players must stay back row and cannot switch to attack.
Switching positions are only allowed after the ball has been served.
Every team is allowed one 30 seconds time out per set ( or single set match ).
Teams will switch sides of the court
