R3 Volleyball Inc. strives to offer a fun, competitive and safe environment to enjoy volleyball games, clinics and or competitions. Please refrain from any aggression, violence, insults or demeaning interaction with anyone. Please treat everyone with respect, kindness and encouragement. Any foul unwanted interactions will not be tolerated and can warrant yourself to being disinvited and or being banned from the organization and all its current and future events and competitions.
If you ever feel unsafe or unfit to participate please let the organizers know immediately so that we can futher assist you. If you are unwell/sick or injured, please do not force yourself.
No Doubles. 1-1/2 spin is ok.
Excessive side spin is considered a double.
Double contact is a double
No Set Overs, No hand dumps.
No Finger Tips. Must be knuckles, fist, palm of the hand, (miss hits will be considered a finger tip/open hand attack).
Open hand receive is allowed.
Doubles on an open hand recieve is discretional upon the play (ex: serve recieve & hard driven hits, the hits that doesnt allow a player enough time to react).
No Reaching, if the ball crosses the net and you made a succesful touch, attempts on redirecting will be considered a reach.
Blocking Redirection. Cannot occur on an over pass.
Attacking Over Passes. Must not be an open hand/finger tips, (must be knuckles, palm of hands or fist).
A block is not considered a first touch.
Pressing is allowed on the third touch.
Pressing before the third touch is considered a reach.
Legal Substitutions:
Substitions are allowed to complete the four players during the regular weeks.
a. Substitutes must be within the same criteria/equivalent to whom they are subbing for (Please refer to Player Dynamic Chart below). Everything highlighted in red is excempted from Season II Summer 2026 volleyball league.
b. Substitutes are allowed during playoffs, bracket and or finals long as they meet the criteria that they are subbing for, and if they have completed atleast 2 weeks or 4 matches worth of sub time during regular weeks. Note: Men & Women Limited can not sub during regular weeks or playoffs, bracket, and or finals (they must be rostered, unless refer to "c.").
c. In the event that your team had rostered a "Limited" player who can not fulfill the duration of the league then a "Limited" player can sub for them if they meet the criteria ( for regular weeks) , and criteria and played the minimum required sub time (to be eligible for playoffs, bracket and or finals).
Substitutes are allowed to play in the finals only after criteria and minimum required sub time has been met.
Illegal Substitutions:
A team is not allowed to rotate more than 4 players within a match, a set, a game, regular week or playoffs, bracket, finals (In game subbing).
In the event of playoffs, bracket and or finals, if a team fails to have a complete roster or legal substitutes, the team must play with what they got (no illegal substitution).
All rostered and substitue players must fill out the waiver form in order to participate in any games during the league.
All substitutes will be tracked through a google form entry.
a. Captains must fill out the substitute form for their subs everytime they sub.
b. Failure to do so will void the accrued minimum sub time required and may result to ineligibility to sub for playoffs, bracket and or finals.
Every game: A team must consist of atleast 1 female player or 1 male that is equivalent play style/level to a female.
No foot faults
No net touches
Antenna touches are considered out.
Full body cross overs under the net are not allowed.
Partial body crossing under the net (meaning if you havent crossed the other side of the net) that does not interfere with opponents effort to get to the ball will not be considered a violation.
Everyone must rotate.
Everyone must serve in order of rotation.
Backrow players must stay back row and cannot switch to attack.
Switching positions are only allowed after the ball has been served.
